Corruption is a social evil which is anti-national, anti-poor and anti-development. The fight against corruption is not a fight to be waged by the Government machinery alone. It is for every responsible citizen to partake in the campaign against corruption. If each individual acts with open eyes and a clear mind and brings instances of corruption to the notice of the designated authorities, half the battle is won. This is easier said than done and requires public support and determined effort. This website is an attempt to educate the public about various dimensions of corruption, the legal provisions and efforts being taken by the vigilance/ Anti Corruption unit of A & N Administration to tackle corruption. We view this website as an important interface with people of Andaman & Nicobar Islands at large. Users are requested to send their suggestions for improvement.
